Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)——-Drew Page ran for 231 yards on 14 carries and scored 2 touchdowns to help Carrington roll past Harvey-Wells County (HWC) 42-0. Page capped his night off with his only carry of the second half that went for a 55 yard TD run giving the Cards a 42-0 nothing lead with 8:50 to go in the 3rd quarter. Kaden Wolsky added 3 TD runs on 7 carries for 19 yards. Junior quarterback Seth Nelson went 6-11-77-1-1. Nelson connected with Trey Rosenau on a23 yard TD pass to start the scoring with 9:32 to play in the 1st quarter. Rosenau finished with a game high 4 catches and 63 yards receiving. Nelson added a pair of interceptions on the defensive side giving him 4 interceptions after 2 games.
Defensively the Cardinals held HWC to 56 total yards of offense and have not allowed a single point after 2 games. Lucas Raue led the Hornets with 38 yards rushing on 16 carries.
