JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Chamber Young Professionals of Jamestown and the chamber Ambassadors recently presented the Business of the Month Award to Neighborhood Grocery and Gas.

They were awarded for their outstanding customer service and continued commitment to the community.

Owner, Jason Babcock was joined by employees Sherri Babcock, Kathy Greer, Becky Buchholz, Sheila Salberg, Amanda Erickson and Keith Schoen to help him celebrate receiving this award.

The nomination stated:

“They all have been decent, polite, helpful, and good people towards others. Their kindness shows through every day. They live up to their name as they truly are a part of our neighborhood. They often are selling tickets for local events and raffles for local groups. Thank you to the Neighborhood Grocery employees for all you do, and for supporting our local community.”

The Young Professionals of Jamestown honor businesses that provide superior customer service, exhibit community spirit and provide a positive economic impact to the community. This award provides recognition throughout the month with a plaque and a recognition banner for the month.

Neighborhood Grocery and Gas, along with all of the other monthly winners, will be considered for Business of the Year to be awarded at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January of 2019.
