JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A semi fire on I-94 east of Jamestown Monday resulted in the total loss of the vehicle.
Jamestown Rural Fire Chief Ben Maulding reports that the semi caught fire while eastbound on I-94 and pulled off onto the Spiritwood exit ramp. The fire was reported just after 2 PM.
The cause of the fire is under determined, but initial investigation finds it may have started outside of the vehicle. Three units and seven firefighters were on scene for about an hour.
There were no injuries reported.
