LITCHVILLE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A small town in Barnes County has become host to one of the area’s larger car shows.

The 13th Annual Main Street Car Show in Litchville has continued to grow in support. Shelly Thoreson is an organizer for the event and says the first event had around 20 cars. Last year, they had over 80.

Thoreson says they’ll block off the street, park the registrants, sign them up for door prizes and give out awards. Registrations will go from 8 AM to 10 AM and the show continues through 2 PM.

The goal of the event is to keep making it bigger and bigger.

Thoreson says there will also be a Backyard BBQ and a Class Reunion during the show this Saturday, July 21st. For more on the car show, visit their Facebook page here. You can also call Thoreson at 701-320-2059.
