JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Commission Tuesday approved a conditional use permit application pit and temporary asphalt plant site north of Medina.
Tyler Perleberg, tax director for Stutsman County, states that it will be similar to the one they approved in 2017.
Perleberg says they changed the route from the site to go west and use the Medina exit. The site will be used to provide materials as crews pave the eastbound lanes of I-94 between Crystal Springs and Cleveland.
“We signed the contract last week,” stated Northern Improvement Company. “We will be required to complete all work by October 13th. This requires us to commence work as soon as possible.”
The project is estimated to be approximately 20 miles of asphalt paving in the project.
The project will commence immediately after approval from the Stutsman County Commission.
