CITY (NewsDakota.com) Police arrested one man after several officers responded to a fight in the 200 block of east Main Street Saturday just before 1am. An officers used a taser gun to subdue the suspect during the arrest.

Around 1:30am Saturday police were called to a fight in progress in the 1000 block southwest Valley City. The fight broke up before police arrived and no arrests were made in that incident.

Police say a 17-year-old Valley City boy was cited for fleeing and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police broke up a loud party in the 200 block of 9th avenue southwest on Saturday. Police say cited one adult for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and 6 others were cited for minor in consumption.
