JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman has pleaded guilty after spitting on law enforcement twice during an incident in May.

According to court documents, Jamestown Police were called to an assault on May 8th behind Gun and Reel Sports. When officers arrived, they observed JaeDee Rae Kraft appeared to be pulling up her pants. Officers noted that she appeared to be very intoxicated, stumbling, and slurring her words. Several times during the call, officers needed to tell Kraft to keep her pants on as she attempted to pull them down numerous times, telling them she needed to urinate.

Kraft was asked questions multiple times, but refused to cooperate. After being asked to submit a breath sample, she intentionally spit in the officers face.

Kraft was restrained and a spit hood was placed over her face. Once in corrections, the spit hood was removed. She later spit on a correctional officer in the booking area.

Kraft pleaded guilty to two counts of contact by bodily fluid or excrement, a Class C felony. She will be placed on supervised probation for 18 months with fines totalling $560.
