MANDAN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 48 year-old Steinbach, MB woman was not injured after traveling too fast while exiting I-94 near Mandan.
The tractor and trailer combination, loaded with packages of peat moss, had exited I-94 westbound on Exit 156 at around 10:00 AM Saturday. The combination was traveling too fast for the 25 mph exit and left the roadway, coming to rest in the west ditch on the driver side.
48 year-old Kathleen St. Marie and her two pet dogs were not injured in the crash. The driver was transported to CHI/St. Alexius ER and the two dogs were taken by Bismarck Police Department Animal Control until the driver was medically cleared.
The semi was totalled in the incident.
