JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – State waters in the area will be full of anglers this weekend for the Dakota Anglers Little Britches Fishing Tournament Saturday.
For the past 37 years, the Dakota Anglers have hosted the event for the area. President Dave Schmidt says they’ll have four team categories and all kids need an adult partner with them.
Schmidt says teams will register at 8 AM at Joos Groove and the event will go from 10 AM to 2 PM. He says they’ve had great success with the tournament.
Schmidt says the club sponsors kids to go to the Devils Lake Fish Camp. He says they’ll be doing a drawing to send 7 kids ages 8-16 to the Devils Lake this August.
Registration for the event is free. For more information, contact Dusty Attleson at 701-320-1731 or Kay Herrick at 701-252-8451.
