(NewsDakota.com)- The 2012 spring has been filled with beautiful days, but some rain and cold weather this week has forced the Jimmies to get creative with scheduling. Fortunately, the changes to the schedule hasn’t derailed the red-hot Jimmies.

Jamestown College picked up a 7-6 win over Minot State in Harvey yesterday.

Nico Moreno hit his sixth round-tripper of the season and Kacy Gardiner picked up the win. The Beavers scored 5 of their 6 runs after the sixth inning, but the Jimmies were able to hold on.

The win gives them 21 for the season, 21-11-1. Jamestown will play Valley City St. at Charlie Brown Field in Valley City on Saturday.
