CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A rural Kathryn man was run over and pinned underneath a trencher just before noon on Tuesday.

Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said, 67-year-old Ron Sorenson was removed from underneath the trencher and treated for his injuries by the Barnes County Ambulance.

Sorenson was airlifted to a Fargo hospital from the scene. No report on his condition has been released. The incident is being investigated by the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office.
