GRAND FORKS, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The doubles team of Reagan Ingstad and Cali Halgrimson won their opening matches of the state tennis tournament Friday in Grand Forks.

In the opening round they beat Lauren Botsford and Jenna Stiegelmeier of Bismarck St.Mary’s 6-2,6-1. Their next match put them against Kali Askvig and Alyssa Henson from Minot who were the 3 seed from the west. They won 6-1, 7-6(6). 

Next up in the semifinals is the No.1 team from the west Elizabeth Felderman and Mckenna Vogel from Mandan. Match time is 11am.
