JAMESTOWN, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Aggies score seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back as Park River/Fordville-Lankin rolls past the Cardinals of Carrington 9-2 in the state semifinal on Friday afternoon from Jack Brown Stadium. No. 2 PRFL improves to 21-3, No. 3 Carrington drops to 13-6.

Picking up the victory on the mound was Junior Nathan Zalvaney, working three innings, no runs, two hits, five strikeouts and no walks.  Suffering the loss was Kyle Leapaldt, working four innings, he drops to 5-2 on the season.  All nine batters for the Aggies had at least one hit, Adam Zavalney had a two-run homerun in the bottom of the first and Bryce Wood hit a grand slam also in the bottom of the first. The Cardinals hitters were held to just three hits, Trey Rosenau had two singles and Drew Page had a single.
