JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) – Officials say a new broadband network in south central North Dakota is the largest fiber-optic Internet connection in North America. The network covers a 10,000-square mile region, which roughly the size of New Jersey. It will bring high-speed Internet service to homes and businesses.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A North Dakota farmer from Max developed a smartphone application to help manage his farm even while he’s sitting on his tractor. Jacob Fannik and another farmer in Minnesota developed Virtual Farm Manager to keep notes, store yield records and sync information with web accounts.
