JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown woman is in custody for drugs after calling police about a possible intruder on her property Thursday.

According to Lt. Robert Opp, the Jamestown Police Department was called out by 36 year-old Stephanie Rose Hess Thursday after she believed someone was out on her deck trying to get into her apartment.

Lt. Opp says when police arrived, there was no intruder. A background investigation determined that she was under the influence of something.

Hess was arrested and currently faces charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) and Possession of Meth Paraphernalia. She’s currently being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
