OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Voters in Oakes will be casting ballots in June for the city’s mayor, city council and park board.

Incumbent mayor Monty Zimmer is being challenged by Nathan O’Brien. Nick Harris and Art Conklin are running for two of three open city council seats, and Jason Paradis, Leslie Dethlefsen and Jill Cox are on the ballot for three park board seats.

Voting at the Oakes Community Center is from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12.
