JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The South Central Human Service Center in Jamestown is opening a satellite office in Valley City on June 4th.

Center director Dan Cramer says it will mean Valley City-area people will have greater access to behavioral health services. Cramer says a steering group in Valley City raised issues concerning services.

Cramer says the Valley City site will be in the City-County Public Health District Building. He says it will be open Monday through Friday, at first, the hours will vary. A team of professionals will be assigned to serve the satellite office.

By late June, the office will offer Open Access Integrated Behavioral Health Assessments on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. During that time period, individuals can walk-in without an appointment and receive a behavioral health assessment.
