(NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota residents will have two extra days to file their taxes this year.
The tax filing deadline for North Dakota’s individual income taxpayers has been extended to April 17. The deadline for federal returns was earlier extended to April 17 and North Dakota tax commissioner Cory Fong says North Dakota is adopting the same deadline for state returns.
Tax day is usually April 15, but that date falls on a Sunday this year. Monday, April 16, is the Emancipation Day holiday in District of Columbia, so the IRS extended the deadline to April 17.
