FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Reports have surfaced that the Fargo Assembly Company has informed plants in Edgeley, Ellendale, and Lehr they would be closing their doors by August 1st.

According to their website, the privately owned wiring harness manufacturer located in Fargo was established in 1975 and has since grown to include 7 plants in North Dakota, 4 in Pennsylvania, and one each in Mississippi, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and England.

No word on the plants two facilities in Fargo and Lisbon.

The closure is estimated to affect between 125 to 150 jobs in the region. A call to the Fargo Assembly Company was not immediately returned.
