KINDRED, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Sawyer Rolland hit a two-run home run in the first and Andy Freier scattered five hits over seven innings as Kindred-Richland downed Enderlin/Maple Valley 3-1 in game one of a doubleheader Thursday in Kindred. The Falcons took game two 9-7.

Nick Eggman had three hits and drove in a run to lead the 10 hit attack for the Vikings. Carter Lingen had two hits and scored twice. Freier allowed just the one earned run with a walk and seven strike outs in the complete game win.
Chance Bye had two of the five hits for the Falcons. Brandon Utke, Colten Sorenson and Jacob Johnson had the other hits for E/MV. Johnson took the loss going six innings allowing ten hits, two earned runs with one walk and 12 strike outs.
Enderline/Maple Valley 9 Kindred/Richland 7
In game two, Garrett Finger had three hits and drove in three runs for the Falcons. Lain Combs had a double and drove in four runs. Kaden Mark had two hits as the Falcons had 10 hits for the game.
Sawyer Rolland and Atley Ingebrigtson had two hit each for the Vikings. Andy Freier drove in three runs.
The Falcons are now 10-4 overall and 8-3 in Region 1. The Vikings fall to 8-2 in Region 1.
