Forks, N.D.(NewsDakota.com)…It was a nasty start for Jamestown at the State Class “A” Baseball Tournament in Grand Forks on Tuesday, as Post 14 dropped a 13-0 game to Dickinson in the opening round at Kraft Field.
Dickinson jumped out to a quick lead, and never looked back, out hitting Jamestown 12-4. Jake Stilwell had two hits for Post 14. Riley Schafer took the loss. Dickinson 10 runned Jamestown for the third time this season.
Post 14, 10-24-1, will have the day off, and will watch the Fargo/Bismarck game today. The loser of that game will face Jamestown in a loser-out game on Thursday at 11:00 a.m..
Round two on Wednesday will also have Mandan playing Minot, Williston against Dickinson, and Grand Forks will tangle with West Fargo.
