JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the Customer Service Award for April to Penny Orr of Orriginals, Inc. for her outstanding customer service.

The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Penny’s letter of nomination stated:

“My mother wasn’t aware that Orriginals is not open on the weekends when she called there on a Saturday. Penny happened to answer and my mom indicated she wanted to get a shirt printed as a special birthday present. Penny didn’t skip a beat, or tell my mother they weren’t open. She simply called one of her screen printers, had them come in and within a couple of hours had a shirt printed for my mother, which, by the way, was a tremendous hit! Penny and her staff went WAY above and beyond, just because they can and, to be courteous and kind. I’m sure that one t-shirt wasn’t something detrimental to their business, but Penny treated my mother like she was their #1 customer, even on her day off. Penny deserves plenty of credit for her kindness and overall wonderful treatment of my mom.”

Penny, along with all the other monthly winners, will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January 2019.
