JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – While Jamestown escaped serious winter conditions after last week’s storm, it appears that won’t be the case this weekend.
The Bismarck National Weather Service reports that residents and travelers can expect snow and cold for Easter Weekend in North Dakota. Meteorologist Tyler Kranz says there will be two rounds of snow with the first bout hitting the state today into tonight and the more impactful snow blowing through Friday.
Kranz says their forecast for Jamestown with the previous storm was a miss, but residents shouldn’t dismiss the storm forecast for this weekend.
Kranz says blowing and drifting snow will be possible starting Friday through Friday night, which will bring low temperatures and wind chill values in the teens to below zero Saturday and Sunday.
