OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Two members of the defending Class 9-Man football State Champions, and two from the 2016 Class A State Champs will be representing North Dakota in the 2018 Knights of Columbus Badlands Bowl in June against an all-star team from Montana high schools.

Wyndmere-Lidgerwood’s wide receiver and defensive back Luke Foertsch along with offensive guard and defensive tackle Charlie Moffet have been named to the North Dakota roster. Ellendale-Edgeley-Kulm running back and defensive end Clayton Grueneich along with fellow defensive end and tight end Lane Hanson were also selected to the team.

Montana, which lambasted North Dakota last year 63-0, leads the all-time series 18-6. North Dakota’s last win came in 2010.

The 25th playing of the series is set for for Saturday, June 16 at Dickinson State University’s Biesiot Activities Center, with kick-off at 6 p.m. Mountain time.
