VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An old case was cracked in Valley City.
33 year-old James Wayne Dennison Jr. of Valley City faces two felony counts of Criminal Conspiracy stemming from a report in August of 2017 involving an overnight burglary of a grocery store in Valley City.
Police Chief Phil Hatcher said a previous arrest in Jamestown acted as a lead to the arrest. Hatcher thanked the Jamestown Police Department and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation for their assistance in the March 27th arrest.
The Barnes County State’s Attorney’s office charged Dennison with Conspiracy to Commit Theft a Class B felony and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary a Class C felony. The burglary was reported at the former Marketplace foods in Valley City on August 20th of 2017. More details available are in the news release below.
