FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Nearing the end of the regular season, the Hi-Liner speech team traveled to the Fargo North Speech Invitational this past Saturday, March 17th.
With many veteran speakers absent due to illness and other conflicts, a young team comprised of mainly sophomore and younger students still managed to capture a tournament title with 134 sweepstakes points, beating out 2nd place Davies with 75 sweepstakes points and third place West Fargo Sheyenne with 59 points.
The Hi-Liners had several first time finalists throughout the day. Individual results for the Hi-Liners are as follows:
