VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Valley City issued a Notice of Alcoholic Beverage License Violation to the American Legion in Valley City by the Police Department through the City Attorney’s office on Monday, March 12th.  At issue is a violation of city ordinance.

Police Chief Phil Hatch said at this time, the notice is only an alleged violation and certain processes through the ordinance still need time to run their course. No sanctions, suspensions, revocations, or closures have been assessed to the American Legion in Valley City until the process has been worked through and approved by the city commission.
