Conrad Huber, age 82, of Sibley, ND, died Sunday, March 4th at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday, March 9th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dazey, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday evening at the church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
Conrad was born in Oriska, ND and grew up in Valley City, ND. After school he farmed with his family until he joined the United States Army. In 1958 he married Janice Marie Discher and the couple continued to work and live on the farm until moving to Fargo at which time he began a 35 year tenure with the City of Fargo. Conrad enjoyed hunting, fishing, and life at the lake. He was also a life long member and first commander of the AmVet Post #7. Conrad adored his family and his great grandchildren were the gleam in his eyes.
Conrad is survived by his daughter Nancy (Dennis) Cossette, Fargo, ND; two grandsons, Brent (Stephanie) Cossette, Omaha, NE, and Troy (Renee) Cossette, Sauk Centre, MN; three great grandchildren, Molly Grace Cossette, Tucker Ervin Cossette, and Reed Louis Cossette; one brother Henry Huber Jr., New Richmond, WI; two sisters, Sister Mary Agnes Huber, Rolla, ND, and Sharon (Huber) Plecity, Fargo, ND.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Janice, his parents Martin and Mary (Millner) Huber, two brothers, Martin Huber Jr., and Leonard Huber, and one sister Margaret (Huber) Altman.
