HORACE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farm Rescue, a nonprofit organization that provides planting, harvesting, haying and hay hauling assistance free of charge to farm and ranch families who have experienced a major illness, injury or natural disaster, is currently accepting applications for planting assistance.
The spring season is approaching and fieldwork will soon begin for producers throughout the region. For those facing an unexpected challenge, it’s never too early to apply for assistance. Priority preference is given to those who apply early, as it allows for planning and logistics of volunteers and equipment.
RDO Equipment Company is generously providing all field equipment needed to complete our planting assistance. Their assistance comes in the form of two John Deere 9560R tractors and two 60-foot air seeders.
“RDO Equipment Company has been the leading field equipment sponsor since I founded the organization in 2005,” said Bill Gross, Founder & President, Farm Rescue. “Their unwavering support of our mission has been a true blessing to farm and ranch families throughout the region.”
