JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – For 37 years, the El Zagal Mystics have been holding a fish fry to raise money for Shrine hospitals and local charities.

They continue that tradition Friday.

Craig Mehlhaff says that when the El Zagal Mystics first began, they had the idea for a fish fry.

Mehlhaff says now that they have new members that include some area restaurant owners, they’ve been able to boost up the event and make the quality of food much higher. He says the funds they’ve raised have helped the region children’s hospital continue their work.

Mehlaff says the continued community support with fundraisers that both Shriner organizations continue to hold has been fantastic.

Tickets are $15 Adult, $5 for ages 6-12, and under age 6 eats free. The fish fry will be Friday, March 2nd from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gladstone Inn Banquet Room.
