JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown men’s basketball team will begin its post season run tonight with a home game against Viterbo in the North Star quarterfinals at Newman Arena.

Jamestown nabbed the No. 2-seed by winning the tiebreak over Dickinson St. The Jimmies split their season meetings with Viterbo, winning 103-93 at Newman Arena back in December.

Viterbo brings match-up problems with Ethan Haberman (6-5), Jason Tichy (6-4), and Cade Anderson (6-10).

Jamestown could potentially host the semifinals and the championship on Sunday and Monday, respectively. But they would need VCSU to upset Bellevue in the 1/8 match-up.

Other games tonight; Dakota State at Dickinson State and Waldorf is hosting Mayville State.

Tip-off tonight is scheduled for 7pm and can be heard on ESPN Jamestown.
