ENDERLIN, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Freshman Katelyn Tingley had a game high 32 points, including six 3-pointers to help the Eagles fly past the Cadets of Sargent Central on Thursday night 70-40 in one of five play-in games in Region I girls basketball. The number four seeded Eagles improve to 16-5 overall, the 13 seeded Cadets end their season at 2-19 overall.

Sophomore Brooke Christensen scored the first six points of the contest and the Eagles had a 16-13 advantage after one quarter of play.  At halftime, Enderlin led 35-20 and outscored the Cadets 35-20 in the second half to complete the victory.  Christensen scored in double figures for Enderlin with 10 points.  Sophomore Allison Peterson led the Cadets with 14 points, including two 3-pointers in the first quarter.

Next up for Enderlin will be Monday at the NDSU Shac at approximately 4:30pm against either Northern Cass or Fargo Oak Grove.  The contest can be heard on the Q101.1 FM and newsdakota.com.
