FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Class A State Wrestling Tournament begins Thursday at The Fargodome. Valley City returns as a team for the 3rd straight year and will bring along 17 individual wrestlers.

The day begins at 11 am with the first round of individual matches. The Hi-Liners have 6 wrestlers who showed up on the last coaches’ poll of the season.

Logan Erlandson was no.1 at 182 and Jaden Oestern no.2 at heavyweight. Jake Tangen was voted no.3 at 195, Parker Larson no.4 at 132, David Peterson no.4 at 152 and Jared Undem  no.5 at 170.

The dual tournament starts at 1:30. The opening round for Valley City features a dual with Mandan, the 3 seed out of the west. Win or lose The Hi-Liners wrestle again Friday at 12:30.
