Hi-Liners End Regular Season With a Triangular Split

BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- VCHS wrestling traveled to Bismarck for a non-conference triangular Friday night. The Hi-Liners split beating Jamestown 40-30 while losing to host Legacy 47-25.

The triangular is final dual competition of the regular season for Valley City, they end the year with a 12-3 overall record, in regional competition they were 8-1.

With the tie breakers Valley City finishes 2nd in The Eastern Dakota Conference. In the opening round of the state dual tournament they will wrestle Mandan who is the 3 seed out of the west. The state tournament begins February 15th. Matches can be heard on KOVC 1490 AM/96.3 FM.

Saturday is The EDC Individual Tournament in West Fargo.
