Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—–The Carrington girls basketball team picked up it’s 13th win of the year defeating the Harvey-Wells County Hornets 72-46. Bella Hone paced the Cardinals with 17 points and 7 rebounds, Addison Hoornaert added 14 points, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Kadyn Mehring finished with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Jill Endres added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Emerson Hoornaert added 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Haley Hewitt added 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 points and 2 steals. McKenzie Johnson also added 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists for the Cards.
Harvey-WC was paced by Jay Fike with 16 points and McKayla Jones with 15 points.
Carrington improved to 13-4 overall and H-WC dropped to 9-8. Carrington will host Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter on Friday. The game will be aired on AM 1600 KDAK (The Cardinal) and newsdakota.com starting at 7:15 with the pregame.
