JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has scheduled a special meeting on Thursday, February 1st to discuss the potential contract for a new city administrator.

In a release from current City Administrator Jeff Fuchs, the council will meet in the council chambers at City Hall at 5:15 PM. The council will discuss the possible approval for a contract to hire Sarah Hellekson as the new City Administrator.

The city interviewed Hellekson earlier this month on January 9th. Hellekson currently works as the Solid Waste Coordinator for the city of Plymouth, Minnesota.
