JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents in parts of Jamestown were without power for an hour and a half Friday evening after Ottertail Power Company report equipment failure.
The company informed its customers through Twitter that power had went out at around 6:58 PM and had affected 2,500 of its customers in Jamestown.

Crews worked to restore power after identifying an equipment failure, switching to restore power to those affected. Power was returned at around 8:30 PM. Workers will now continue looking for the reason an outage occurred.
