CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An Oakes man is facing numerous charges after striking a Kenworth truck outside of Watford City Thursday night.
Myron Gary Jepson, 50, of Oakes was in the northbound shoulder traveling south on Highway 22 when he turned right and entered the lane of travel. Jepson then struck the semi driven by Wesley Hover of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The semi jackknifed and entered the east ditch. Jepson’s vehicle spun clockwise and came to rest in the northbound lane.
Jepson’s vehicle was totaled in the crash and Hofer’s vehicle received disabling damage. Jepson was transported to the McKenzie County Hospital by ambulance. He is facing charges of Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under Suspension, and Care Required.
