VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local veterans were recognized by ND Cares and the city just before a Valley City Commission meeting on January 2nd.
The goal of the ND Cares Community Program is to strengthen an accessible, seamless network of support for service members in several communities across the state.
Executive Director Darcie Handt said the focus is to create a supportive environment for Service members, Veterans, Families and Survivors.
Last year, Valley City became the latest member of the ND Cares Community program.
