N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Employees of several local businesses recently attend a half-day training class to better understand Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, which was provided by TrainND in partnership with the Chamber and the Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation.
Those who participated included John Rawerts, First Community Credit Union; Kathy Clemens and Sarah Huebner, Central Sales; Laurie Kingzett, Dickey Rural Telephone; Roy Kuil, BEK Communications, and Trainer, Ed Cronin, Adjunct Professor.
The participants were provided an in-depth, hands on opportunity to learn about this software program, and to address some of their questions about how to best utilize the program. A comprehensive manual, and ability to actually work on the computer during the class, was a component of the training. Additionally, follow up questions from the participants will be addressed as needed by the trainer.
The partners are providing additional business training in 2018. Some of the additional classes that will be available include OSHA training, additional software training, first-time manager training and more. Watch for a complete schedule on the website at www.jamestownchamber.com.
