CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- It was a near sweep in the all around for The Hi-Liner Gymnastics Team Friday. Hosting an event for the first time this season Valley City beat Wahpeton and Mandan to win The Valley City Invite. Their team score was 136.975. Wahpeton was 2nd with 119.85 and Mandan 104.55.

Individually 5 of the top 6 all around finishers where Hi-Liners. Jocey Kriewald came in 1st place, her all around score was 34.475. Her best event was the vault where she finished with a score of 9.300. Karina Olson was 2nd, she posted a score of 34.300, in the bars she scored 8.325.

Olivia Olson was 3rd, in the all around she had a score of 34.00 with a 8.975 in the beam and 8.950 in the floor. In 4th place was Britta Roehrich, with 8.775 in the floor she had an all around of 32.975. Abbey Thornton took 6th in the all around, her top event was the bars where scored 8.200 to add to her all round of 31.425

Valley City host another event on December 16th at The YSC with Bismarck, Bismarck Century, Bismarck Legacy, Dickinson and Minot all coming to town.
