CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Senior Jake Tangen had a great tournament on Saturday December 2nd at the Knights of Columbus tournament in Jamestown as he wrestled at 220lbs weight class and dominated the field going a perfect 4-0 with 3 pins.

Jake has 91 career varsity wins for the Hi-Liners and is a team captain.  Jake is a member of the Valley City “A” Honor Roll, DECA Team, and participates in Skills USA.  Jake enjoys hunting, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. Jakes future plans include becoming a Registered Nurse.  Jake is a leader on the Hi-Liner wrestling team that is ranked 2nd in the EDC andis a great representative for Valley City and VCHS.
