LONDON, MN (NewsDakota.com) – Two women were injured as well as a Carrington man Wednesday after a dump truck and a vehicle collided at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Minnesota Highway 9.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 1992 Mack dump truck was traveling north and a 2007 Sebring was traveling south on Highway 71 when the car attempted to make a left turn in front of the truck. The dump truck swerved and rolled.

Sebring driver Rosalyn Imelda Carter, 80, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Passenger Carolyn Teresa Botz, 24, was transported to Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both were wearing their seatbelts.

The truck driver was Paul Gregory Sykora, 31, of Carrington. He suffered non-life threatening injuries, but he was not taken to a hospital. He was wearing his seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
