JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – From mid-October until mid-November, the team at Essentia Health in Jamestown has been bringing in food and non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army.
In total, the Essentia team donated almost 180 pounds of food for families in the area.
“Whenever we have a chance to make a difference in our community, we take it,” said Essentia Health-Jamestown Clinic Manager Laura Hovland. “This food will hopefully help families in our area that need it. No one should have to worry about putting food on the table or feeding their family.”
The items will be donated in time for the holiday season, so all families in the area can come together around the dinner table.
