N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man was arrested following an incident in the Wal-Mart parking lot Tuesday, November 21st.
The Jamestown Police Department reports that D’Marco Smith, 24, allegedly brandished a gun in the parking lot. Police responded at around 10:50 PM to the report of road rage. Police say Smith was driving a vehicle in the store’s parking lot and was allegedly showing a weapon to several people in another vehicle. One of the victims was able to identify the vehicle its license plate to the police.
Police say at 11:02 PM, an officer located the vehicle and Smith. A subsequent search found a handgun and Smith was arrested. The handgun was seized as evidence and Smith was taken to the Stutsman County Correctional Center.
Smith posted $500 bond and was released Wednesday.
