N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The NDSU Extension Service Stutsman County will be holding a Livestock Workshop on Wednesday, November 29th in Woodworth.

Several topics will be covered including important items for the winter and things to remember for the spring. Stutsman County Extension Agent Alicia Harstad reports that they hope to share important information with everyone who attends.

Harstad says some topics include stretching hay supplies with Karl Hoppe, an extension livestock area specialist. Other speakers are Mary Berg on manure management, Penny Nester of Kidder County on the silage sampling program, Alicia Harstad on nitrate testing, and Kevin Sedivec on pasture management and stocking rates.
