CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The CHI Mercy Health Foundation’s 22nd Annual Festival of Trees will be held Saturday, November 25 at the Valley City Eagles Club.

Spokeswoman Stephanie Mayfield said with the support of individuals and area businesses, the CHI Mercy Health Foundation raised over $17,000 during last year’s event to purchase a new Pulmonary Function Test Machine for our Respiratory Therapy Department. She said this year, we are raising funds to purchase a new CR Reader Software for our X-Ray machines. She added, this important software transmits our X-Rays to an offsite Radiologist for reading and diagnosis.

The CHI Mercy Health Foundation cordially invites everyone to participate in the 22nd Annual Festival of Trees Gala. This year the event will be upstairs but with a few changes: Mayfield said we are bringing back the hors d’oeuvre buffet, ticket prices will decrease to $25/person, and we will have local talent for our gala entertainment. The VCHS Show Choir and the VC Hi-Lites Dance Team. She said we’re excited to help support these talented groups and they are both certain to put everyone in the Christmas Spirit with their performances. Everyone is welcome.

Mayfield said prepare for the holidays by shopping our wonderful Silent Auction for great gift ideas as well as all of your decorating needs wreath, mantel-pieces, porch décor, or decorated Christmas tree on our Live Auction! We also have MN Vikings tickets on the live auction and a designer purse by Michael Kors. The Quilt, Deluxe Trip and Mystery Duffle raffles are fun for everyone as well as the Heads or Tails Paddle Run.

Tickets are $25 per person and currently on sale in the Foundation office at the Hospital or online on the Hospital Website. The doors (and silent auction) will open at 6:00pm, the live auction begins at 7:30pm and the evening closes with the VCHS Show Choir and VC-Hi-Lites Dance Teams performing at 8:30pm.
