N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen informed the city council Monday that the North Dakota Department of Transportation will provide some funding for the Frontier Village access road.
Currently, the road is deteriorating and is in desperate need of repairs. Frontier Village Board President Nellie Degen brought the issue forward earlier this year. Mayor Andersen says the NDDOT would fund 60 percent of the project up to $100,468 for construction only.
Mayor Andersen says the funding will be discussed at their later committee meetings. She says the application process was very competitive.
The deadline to apply for the funding will be December 12th.
