N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released the latest run report for the days between October 19th and November 1st.

Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther reports that there have been 247 calls in 2017 so far. Below are the calls for service that include dates, places and times of each call.

Call No. 239 October 20th, 4:42PM, ready squad responded to 419 2nd Ave NW, Building Blocks, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Fire alarm was rest. Time out 10 minutes.

Call No. 240 October 20th, 9:17PM, ready squad responded to 5855 3rd St SE, Cavendish Farms, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-steam activated the fire alarm. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 241 October 23rd, 9:51AM, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, NDSH-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.

Call No. 242 October 26th, 5:16PM, ready squad responded to 1535 5th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of a trap over the top of a chimney that maybe cause carbon monoxide. Firefighters removed the trap and checked for carbon monoxide, 0ppm was detected. Time out 40 minutes.

Call No. 243 October 27th, 12:11AM, fire department hazmat team responded to I-94 Exit 260, to a report of a semi leaking diesel. Firefighters contained the leak by plugging the hole and damning up the area so diesel could go anywhere. Cause-semi accident. No injuries reported. Time out 40 minutes.

Call No. 244 October 27th, 1:52PM, ready squad responded to 921 25th St SW, Wal-Mart Parking Lot, to a report of a vehicle leaking gasoline. Firefighters laid down floor dry and checked to see if the vehicle was still leaking. Cause-over filled gas tank. Time out 30 minutes.

Call No. 245 October 31st, 8:18AM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.

Call No. 246 October 31st, 1:02PM, ready squad responded to 215 5th SE, St. John’s Academy, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-fog machine was being used for Halloween. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 10 minutes.

Call No. 247 October 31st, 9:29PM, ready squad responded to 501 19th St NE, Ava Maria Village, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.
